Meanwhile, the North Mumbai Panthers (NMP) have retained young batsman Prithvi Shaw. However, NMP is yet to finalise on who will lead the team in the tournament.
The player auction for the T20 league will be held on May 4, Saturday and more than 100 players will be put under the hammer including pacer Shardul Thakur, ex-Mumbai skipper Aditya Tare and Kings XI Punjab batsman Sarfaraz Khan.
Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, who won the inaugural edition, have retained Suryakumar Yadav and Akash Parkar. The Shivaji Park Lions decided to retain Shivam Dube and Siddhesh Lad.
