ICC U-19 World Cup Final 2018: BCCI announce cash prizes for the champions

Coach Rahul Dravid to get ₹50 Lakh, players ₹30 Lakh each and members of support staff ₹20 Lakh each


The Committee of Administrators (COA) has announced cash rewards for the victorious Indian team they defeated Australia by eight wickets to lift their fourth ICC U-19 World Cup, at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, on Saturday.

The BCCI have announced cash prizes for coach Rahul Dravid (₹50 Lakh), players ( ₹30 Lakh each) and members of support staff (₹20 Lakh each).

COA head Vinod Rai and member Diana Eduljee heaped praise on the title-winning team and they also had good things to say about Rahul Dravid who helped the young guns to make history. 

Manjot Kalra scored 101 while he was ably supported by Harvik Desai (47*) as India crossed the finish line in just 38.5 overs

The Indian team becomes the first team to win the title four times with finalists
