Indian captain Virat Kohli and aggression are two sides of the same coin as the skipper has been in the news several times for the same reason. Accordingly, Kohli made headlines after a verbal spat with Australian captain Tim Paine during the ongoing series which has sparked criticism for the Indian captain from Indian fans. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah called Kohli "world’s worst behaved player" in a Facebook post after his tiff with Tim Paine.

Shah bashed him calling him the world’s worst behaved player along with being world’s best batsman,

Earlier, the 30-year-old cricketer had drawn flak for asking a fan to leave the country after the fan had expressed that he liked English and Australian batsmen more than Indian batsmen. The actor’s post seems to be a response to the same comment by the Indian captain. Meanwhile, the 'A Wednesday' actor also took a dig at Kohli and stated that he had no intention of leaving the country.

While several voiced their support for Shah, there were various Kohli fans who defended him by saying that aggression is an important aspect of a match against Australia. As the captain’s behaviour has been questioned several times, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had also advised Kohli to behave himself.
