Ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 auction which will be held on January 27-28, all the eight franchises on Thursday revealed the list of players who they retained for the upcoming season.



Mumbai Indians paid ₹15 Crore to retain captain Rohit Sharma where Royal Challengers Bangalore made Virat Kohli the highest paid cricketer in IPL history by retaining him for ₹17 crores.

Mumbai Indians also retained all-rounder Hardik Pandya and bowler Jasprit Bumrah. It was surprising to see the likes of Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Lasith Malinga being left out as they go into the auction with ₹47 Crore left to buy players.

Chennai Super Kings: MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja

Delhi Daredevils: Shreyas Iyer, Chris Morris, Rishabh Pant.

Kings XI Punjab: Axar Patel

Kolkata Knight Riders: Sunil Narine and Andre Russell.

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah

Rajasthan Royals: Steve Smith
