Ahead of IPL 2020, various Mumbai Indian crickets were seen relaxing with their family amidst the hectic training sessions.

This year, due to a large number of coronavirus cases in the country, the 13th season of the IPL will be played in the UAE. The BCCI had no option left but to take the tournament outside of the country. At first, the confusion was between whether it would be UAE or Sri Lanka, both of which were looked at potential places to host the IPL with UAE more or less controlling the spread of the coronavirus, while Sri Lanka is one of the least affected countries by COVID-19.

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma took to the beach to enjoy quality moments with his family members. Moreover, the franchise shared a series of pictures, showing their star players having a gala time on the beach.

Moreover, cricketers Suryakumar Ashok Yadav and Dhawal Sunil Kulkarni were seen enjoying on the beach in the midst of the waves.

According to the schedule released by BCCI, the CSK team will take on Mumbai Indians in their opening match of the tournament. While a majority of their players are in the UAE for some high-octane T20 action, the MS Dhoni-led side is set to miss the services of Sam Curran and Josh Hazlewood in the first week of the tournament. Both the players are due to participate in September’s England vs Australia limited-overs series.

After the tournament-opening on Saturday, Dubai will host its first game on Sunday when Delhi Capitals take on Kings XI Punjab followed by the third match on Monday between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
