Cricket fans across the world are eager to watch the 13th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) which will be held in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament will begin on September 19 and the final match will be played on November 10, 2020.

Amidst the excitement and several announcements, Mumbai Indians, on Sunday, August 30, 2020, unveiled their new jersey for this season of IPL. Images of the players in their blue and gold jersey were shared by several fans and team members on social media, and this year Samsung has been chosen as the title sponsor of Mumbai Indians.

The 12th season of the IPL was won by Mumbai Indians, and the team was led by Rohit Sharma, who defeated Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK). This match marked the fourth win for Mumbai Indians as IPL Champions, and the team has the title previously in 2013, 2015, and 2017. This year too, with the IPL being held in the UAE, Mumbai Indians are being considered as one of the strong contenders.

Amidst the coronavirus outbreak, fans weren't sure about the IPL being conducted this year, however, the association decided to move it to the UAE, keeping the pandemic in mind. The first match of the tournament will be on September 19, 2020, and was earlier planned between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. However, some players from CSK are infected with coronavirus, and hence it is speculated that the opening match might now be between Mumbai and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
