The Indian cricket team’s opener batsman Rohit Sharma was spotted at the Gateway of India in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra for the second time in a week along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh on Tuesday, January 26.

According to reports, after registering a historic win on the tour of Australia, the couple were returning from Alibaug after spending some quality time these days. Keeping the safety precautions in mind due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rohit and Ritika were also seen sporting face masks as they walk near the boating area after they leave a luxury private jet.

Due to his knee injury, Rohit Sharma was not able to play in the One Day matches against Australia. However, after Rohit Sharma got approval from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, he reached Australia to play the last two-Test matches in the ongoing series against the Kangaroos. Sharma scored a total of 150 runs in two test matches that he played in this series.

After the Australia Test series, India’s next match is with England cricket team. Test, T20 and ODI series will be played between the two teams. The Test series starts from February 5 next month in Chennai.

The Indian team has high hopes from hitman Rohit Sharma. At the same time, team India skipper Virat Kohli has also returned from paternity leave.

Even Mumbai Indians in banking on Rohit to take the team to another height. After lighting the cup in IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians is all set for the mini-auction that is expected to happen soon. There is no clarity in regards to the dates of IPL 2021 and also if the matches will be played in India or in some other country.
