Chembur Strikers and Bandra Busters locked horns in the Sai Mumbai Master Premier League on Tuesday evening at Police Gymkhana. 

Bandra Busters won the toss and elected to field first but Chembur put on an impressive first innings performance by scoring 214/7 and setting a tough target of 215 for the Busters.

Pankaj Asrani and Digvijay Singh opened the batting for Chembur with both contributing 38 and 13 each. Vinay Singh and Aditya Khandlkar's partnership was crucial with 45 and 40 runs each.



For Bandra, Sunil Thariyani was the standout bowler with three wickets in the first innings.

The second innings saw Bandra chase a big total of 215 and were off to a flying start. The middle order of Sunil Thariyani, Dhiraj Solanki, and Sunil Sangle put in a solid performance to take the Busters to 188 but eventually fell short.
