Two people died in the accident occurred on Western Express highway. The incident took place last night when two trucks bumped into each other. After the incident, the highway was jammed for few hours. The condition of the trucks showcases how deadly the accident was? Both the trucks were returning to Karnataka after transporting fish in Crawford Market.
When the truck crossed Kandivali, the truck moving ahead lost the balance as the road was slippery. The truck which was behind crashed into the overturned truck. Two helpers sitting inside the truck died on the spot. Fire brigade rushed to the spot and shifted the truck aside. The truck driver was severely injured. Samta Nagar police station has registered accidental death case.
