The JJ Marg police have detained a 15-year-old accused and his father, Javed Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh. A case has been registered under section 304(2) of the IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
According to the police, the class 10 student who was riding the scooter did not appear to be in a drunken state. But his blood sample has been sent for testing.
