Dabholkar murder case: Accused Amol Kale's police custody extended till October 12

In connection with the murder of Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti founder Dr. Narendra Dabholkar and Bengaluru-based senior journalist Gauri Lankesh, prime accused Amol Kale and two other suspects, Amit Baddi, and Ganesh Mistry’s police custody has been extended till October 12.

While investigating Gauri Lankesh’s murder, Maharashtra police found out that Amol Kale, the prime accused, had planned to carry out a bomb blast at the Sunburn music festival in Pune, for which, the necessary material was kept hidden at Nallasopara. Following this, Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) started investigating and arrested Kale’s accomplices.

In connection to Nallasopara explosives case, Maharashtra ATS has so far arrested Vaibhav Raut, Sudhanva Gondhalekar, Shrikant Pangarkar and other 12 accused.
