Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman Khan granted bail by Jodhpur Sessions Court

Jodhpur Sessions Court has granted bail to Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the Blackbuck poaching case, the actor had to pay a bail amount of ₹50,000.

Yesterday, the Judge hearing his bail plea, Ravindra Kumar Joshi, has received the transfer order from the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur No. Estt. (RJS)/20/2018 to Sirohi.

On April 5, Jodhpur court had convicted actor Salman Khan in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. His co-accused actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam are acquitted in the case. 

Salman had been held under Section 9 and 51 of Wildlife Protection Act.

Next hearing is on May 7 and the actor has to be present in Jodhpur Sessions Court and he cannot leave the country without permission.
