Goregaon Police arrested two in the case of fraud. Accused Chintan Pravinchandra Desai (27) and Gaurav Shripad Kulkarni (25) used to hire cameras on rent in the pretext of shooting. After hiring cameras they used to sell them.
After the tenure lapses, camera owners used to call them asking for their cameras. They never remained available for the comment. When directors and producers are contacted for the same they deny that anyone has hired the camera for shooting.
Goregaon police arrested them under IPC section 420/43. Police recovered camera, lenses and tripod worth Rs 5.44 lakh. Both of them are in police custody until 7 April.
