On Friday, September 18, a fire broke out in an air conditioning duct at the Worli Old passport office which led to a cylinder blast at Old Passport Office.
According to sources, a woman sustained minor injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The Police and fire brigade took possession of the building and evacuated it as soon as the accident took place.
This incident took place at the Manish Commercial Centre at Annie Besant Road in Worli.
