4 dummy candidates arrested during police recruitment drive

After the chaotic situation during the physical test for recruitment came to light, another incident of chaos has marred the police recruitment drive as Mumbai Police have arrested four dummy candidates in the written examination.

According to information, the written test for police recruitment was conducted at various centres on Wednesday. It was found that many candidates had placed their dummies in the written examination. Anil Bhise (24) from Sahar had placed Santoshlal Chhote (25) as his dummy in this exam. Police have also arrested an agent identified as Pralhad Naglat (25). Santoshlal Chhote was appearing for the exam by using the fake Aadhar card. All of these accused were granted police custody till May 22.

Police also arrested one Sajjan Motilal Satwan (23) who was appearing as a dummy candidate at St. Teresa High School in Charni Road area. He was appearing in the exam at the place of Amil Dhage. Police are investigating the case further.

As per information, all the accused arrested as dummy are from Aurangabad. Police are now finding out whether there is any gang executing such task, said DCP Rashmi Karandikar.

It is to be noted here that many irregularities were found in the physical test conducted under the police recruitment drive.
