Massive tragedy averted as GRP catches a 19-year-old displacing a railway track

In a situation that could have been nothing short of alarming and tragic, thanks to a 19-year-old who was caught displacing a six feet railway track and throwing stones at the signal light. A guy named Dev Sukhlal Kaul (19) was caught between the timings of 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, displacing a railway track beneath the Kanark Bandar Bridge on the slow-up track. Kaul was spotted breaking the lights of the signal by throwing stones at it and was immediately caught by GRP Surendra Sharma and intimated the RPF about the whole incident.

Dev Kaul has been booked under the law of CST GRP under different sections of (1) (2) (K) and (D) of 150 and was presented in Court on Sunday. Kaul used to sell water balloons but the reason as to why did he do something as drastic as this is still unknown. Moreover, the police are trying to investigate the reason. Earlier as well, a gang of five people had dislocated a six and a half meter long railway track within the Mumbra and Diva station. Was Kaul included in the gang still stays the question as the police continue their investigations in this regard.
