Sheetal Salvi (34), a Dahisar resident, was admitted in the hospital in ward number 7 where she gave birth to a baby boy on June 9. On Thursday, June 13, when Salvi was asleep, a woman abducted the infant and rushed towards the exit which was captured on CCTV camera. With the help of the footage, Agripada police were able to trace the woman on June 14 and the infant is now in safe hands.

This incident throws light on the negligence and irresponsibility of the security personnel in the hospital as every post-natal kid has a tag on his left hand. The woman has been identified as Hazel Donald Koria and the interrogation is underway.
