A note has been found in the toilet of the cargo area of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport which stated that terrorist organisation ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) could attack Mumbai anytime.
CISF and police were looking into the matter.
CISF personnel were alerted after learning of the letter and they cleared the cargo area. All staff at the cargo bay were evacuated and a bomb disposal squad was called in immediately.
The note specified an attack on January 26, 2018.
CISF converted the situation into a mock-drill by evacuating the staff.
