Mumbai - A couple is assaulted in a broad daylight, the husband dies but police fail to register a case under the pretext of medical reports. This tragic incident took place in Azadnagar area of Mahim. Shaila Bhaddal and her husband Mahadev were assaulted. Mahadev died on the spot but police did not register a case and awaiting the medical report on Mahadev’s death. When Mumbai Live contacted Shahu Nagar police station, it was informed that there were no injury marks on the body of the deceased and hence his medical report is being waited for. The family of the deceased has knocked the doors of all the concerned officials and even the chief minister but in vain.
