Finally, the CSTM molester, Ashrafali Karimulla Sheikh (25), who forced a 13-year-old to jump off the train is now behind the bars. The GRP made the arrest from CSTM when they were informed about accused Sheikh visiting CSTM station on October 26, Thursday. He will be produced in court on Friday.
On October 22, Sunday, a 13-year-old girl boarded a Kalyan-bound train from CSTM when Sheikh got in the ladies compartment and tried misbehaving with her. Scared she jumped off the train and got away with head injuries. The untoward incident took place around 9:29 am.

When the victim told the accused to go to the general compartment, he asked her to shut up and tried to go close to her. She got scared and started pulling the emergency chain but the train did not stop. She then jumped off the train and now she is recuperating at St. George Hospital," Vilas Chaugule, PI, GRP, CSTM.
Earlier, Dadar GRP had arrested Sheikh for stealing a mobile phone.
We received a tip that Sheikh is going to come to CSTM on Thursday and police inspector Vilas Chougule and his team arrested the accused," Samadhan Pawar, DCP, CR, GRP.
Police have already registered an FIR against Sheikh under Sections 354 (molestation), 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life) of the Indian Penal Code, along with Sections 4 and 8 of POCSO Act.
