A 35-year-old man was beaten to death with a stick and a paver block in Santacruz on Thursday due to animosity. Santacruz police have registered a case of murder in this case and police informed that the search for the accused is on.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Shukla (35). Shukla had a quarrel with the accused earlier. Out of that anger, the accused beat Shukla with a stick, paver block and umbrella. Shukla suffered serious head injuries and fell down. After that, Shukla was rushed to Cooper Hospital. But the hospital doctors declared him dead.
The incident took place at Dilkush Society, S V Road. When the police asked the security guard about this, he narrated the incident. On the complaint of security guard Makar Bahadur Singh, Santacruz police registered a case of murder in this case. The entire incident was caught on the CCTV camera and it was found that a person named Pandey killed Shukla, police said. The search for accused Pandey is on.
