According to reports, the Mumbai Police has filed a case against a businessman (75) in regard to a rape case of a woman (35) in the city's Juhu area. 

The police were quoted in an account by the news agency ANI elaborating on how the 75-year-old businessman raped a 35-year-old woman writer in a five-star hotel situated in Mumbai's Juhu. The police added that in lieu of the woman's complaint, the police registered a case against the accused and are investigating the matter further. This, the officer said was under the many sections of the IPC. 

Based on the account, the accused threatened to kill the victim in the name of Dawood Ibrahim, the underworld don, if she complained to the police.  

The narrative highlights that the victim lodged a complaint at Mumbai's Amboli police station against the businessman. On the other hand, the woman claims to have received a call from the "D Gang", threatening her to not file a complaint against the businessman.

It has been reported that the businessman had allegedly taken a loan of INR 2 crore from the woman and did not return it. Later, when the woman attempted to voice her atrocities, the accused and the police associated with Ibrahim threatened to kill her if she told anyone about this.  

Currently, the investigation has been transferred to the MIDC Police from Amboli Police. Therefore, now, the MIDC Police are investigating the allegations of the woman.
