Ace actor Sumeet Raghavan and his wife, Chinmayee Surve, had lodged a complaint today when a man, Jeevan Chaudhary (42), flashed at his wife when she was out for a walk in her residential area, Vile Parle.
The latest update on the same states that the police has nabbed the driver within two hours of the complaint. Sumeet thanked the police on Twitter, with a message that read, “After lodging the F.I.R at 4.15pm, the cops have nabbed the ba****d in 2 hrs flat.. Hats off @MumbaiPolice gratitude and respect. #VileParlePoliceStation and the concerned officers #Salute ♥ God forbid if at all such things happen, please go to the cops. Don't suffer. Speak up.”

This incident happened on Monday morning when a driver of the white BMW near Tilak School in Vile Parle (East) was accused of masturbating in front of Chinmayee. On knowing the same, the actor took to Twitter and voiced the same with a message stating that “A white BMW with last 4 digits 1985 needs to be traced. The driver wearing a grey safari who had parked near #ParleTilakSchool #VileParleEast started masturbating in front of my wife. Before she could slap him he escaped. She could note down just the last 4 digits.
Tagging the Mumbai Police brought the team to alert, who swiftly responded and filed a complaint against the man. The hunt began to arrest the accused. Laxman Chavan, Senior PI stated that Jeevan has given a statement denying the above mentioned and reported activity, and also said that he did not intend or do anything as mentioned. In fact, he states that it is a misunderstanding as he was adjusting the zip in the trouser.
The actor also asked the people to speak up in such cases, in order to bring about a change in the society. Many such cases have been reported in the past, in Mumbai. Recently, a woman also filed a complaint when a man in the Mumbai Local, flashed at her. However, an action was taken regarding the same as well.
