On Saturday, September 12, the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted raids on several drug traffickers in Mumbai.

According to officials, these raids were conducted based on specific reports. However, these raids are not specifically connected to the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, which the special investigation team is still probing.

Earlier on Friday, the Mumbai sessions court rejected the bail applications of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and others who were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug probe in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Apart from the actor, those whose bail plea has been rejected by the special court are Sushant's former house manager Samuel Miranda, his staff Dipesh Sawant, alleged drug peddlers Zaid and Basit and others who are currently lodged in the Byculla jail.

Even though over two months have gone by since Rajput passed away, the details regarding his death have not come to the forefront. As the country is filled with conjecture, various sections of the media have been severely criticized for intrusive reporting in this case.

On the other hand, questions regarding the Mumbai Police's investigation were also raised from the very beginning, and over the last few months, some media houses have been raising questions about the functioning of the Mumbai Police at all levels.
