Mumbai police have successfully arrested a man who sexually abused a young woman in the ladies' section of a moving train. The incident occurred between the busy CSMT and Masjid Bunder stations on Wednesday morning, June 14. The victim was a 20-year-old resident of Girgaon. She was travelling to Belapur for an important test.

According to reports, the man saw the lone woman in the ladies' section of the train and subjected her to sexual assault. The victim raised an alarm, prompting the man to flee the train at Masjid Bunder. The woman then immediately filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the CSMT station.

The Mumbai police immediately launched investigation into the incident. They used the CCTV footage from both CSMT and Masjid Bunder stations. The authorities were able to identify the suspect involved in the act. At approximately 4 pm, the police detained a 40-year-old man near Masjid Bunder. The suspect is now in custody.
