The police arrested six people including two transgenders in connection with the allegation of selling a one-and-a-half-year-old child for four and a half lakh rupees. The parents of the child are also included in the list of accused. A case has been registered in DN Nagar Police Station in this regard.


In this matter, the police themselves have filed a complaint and based on their complaint, a case has been registered against six people under Section 370, 34 of the IPC along with Section 80 and 81 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act at the DN Nagar Police Station. Police sub-inspector Seema Khan (32) is the complainant in this case. According to the complaint, Hussain Sheikh, a one-year-seven-month-old boy, was sold. The child's mother Nazmeen Sheikh and father Mohammad Sheikh reside in Malad Malvani Parisarital Abdul Hameed Road area. The couple themselves sold their baby. For this, the baby was sold through the mediation of transgender Saiba Ansari from Andheri West Indira Nagar, Rabia Ansari and Sakina Banu Sheikh who live in the same area.

Sakina Shaikh is an acquaintance of this couple. The baby was sold to Inderdeep alias Inder Whatwar (43) of Thane through Saiba Ansari's introduction. Whatwar is from a good family and is gay. He wanted to adopt a son. The baby was sold for INR 4.65 lakh including medical expenses. The baby was rescued from the clutches of the accused and is currently kept in St. Catherine's Security Home in Andheri West. Police are investigating further in this matter.


Truth revealed because of the kidnapping hoax

When the child's aunt came home, the child was nowhere to be found. Finally, when she asked her brother, he gave false information that a businessman had kidnapped him. After that, the boy's aunt immediately took the brother and his wife to the Malvani police station. At that time, he killed time by saying that he had taken the boy for the shooting of an advertisement. But his lie was exposed as many mistakes appeared in his made up story.
