Mumbai Central- On 8th February, an ST bus driver, Prabhakar Gaikwad was beaten to death by few auto rickshaw drivers at Bhiwandi. This led to the rage amongst ST bus drivers who staged the protest across the city.
On Saturday, Mumbai Central and Parel ST depot workers did a chakkajam from 7 am to 9 am at their respective bus depots.
On 8th February, Bhiwandi bus driver Prabhakar Gaikwad and auto rickshaw drivers got into a brawl over parking space. Post to which, they started beating up Gaikwad where he lost his life. Due to this brawl, Bhiwandi bus depot now has come to a standstill.
