In the span of just three hours, the burglars broke into three houses and managed to steal 1 lakh 58 thousand 250 thousand rupees between 4:20 and 6:00 in the evening. This includes jewellery and cash. 


Gaurav Kapadnis lives in Gothivali village of Amritdham society under Rabale police station. On the night of 17th, when he came home as usual, the doors and windows of his house were broken and when he went inside, he saw that all the belongings were scattered around. On inspection, it was found that the jewellery from his house had been stolen.

It also came to light that theft occurred in two other houses in the same society. On getting this information, Rabale police rushed to the spot. A total of 1 lakh 58 thousand 250 thousand has been stolen from all the three houses. This includes jewellery and cash. In this case, based on the complaint given by Gaurav and two others in the Rabale police station, the police registered a case of burglary.
