Perverse! Man flashes at a girl in a running train at Panvel

It has been a month since the flashing incident which took place in Vashi, and now, a similar incident was reported in Panvel on a running train.

On July 22, Sunday, the victim boarded the 7:35 pm Andheri-bound train from Panvel. Being a weekend, there was not much rush in the train. The compartment in which the victim was sitting had no other passengers. The moment the train started, a man boarded the same compartment and after a while, he started flashing at her.

Meanwhile, the scared victim started shouting for help and tried clicking pictures of the accused but he snatched her phone. As the train slowed down at Khandeshwar, the accused jumped off the train and ran away.

For now, Panvel police have registered a molestation case and are checking the CCTV footage in order to nab the accused.

This is not the first time

A month ago, a man was arrested for flashing at a mother-daughter duo. In connection with the same, the Vashi police arrested the accused — Umashankar Vijayshankar Dubey (25). Another such incident took place at CSTM when a woman was sitting in Tapovan Express and the man flashed at her.
