A man allegedly fired a shot in a bus going from Borivali to Thane at a woman seated ahead of him. The woman on the other hand is battling for her life and is in a critical condition.
As per the reports, Parvati Thakur, who’s a senior citizen, boarded the ST bus at Borivali to commute till Thane. It was right after when the bus started moving that the man shot a fire at her all at once. Meanwhile after firing the shot, the other people who were seated in the bus, caught hold of the accused after which they handed him over to the police.
The police have arrested the accused on the charges of attempt to murder. As per them, the accused named Sumedh Karandikar already has criminal record registered in his name, however the reason of the murder can be only known with the further investigations that are being conducted on the case. Moreover, Parvati Thakur has been admitted to the Vedanta Hospital in Mira Road.
