While recording complaints of atrocities against women in the city, the foundation registered 432 cases of rape in 2013-14 and 1,209 cases of molestation. In 2017-18, there were 722 rape cases and a staggering 2,358 cases of molestation filed. Similarly, the report of atrocities of minor children has increased by 19 percent. In this report, 6,600 cases were filed in 2016-17.
