Charkop Police has arrested five people in connection with the murder of a youth. The accused are being identified as Pankaj
Nitesh was about to get married to Monika who worked as a nurse at Oscar Hospital, Charkop of Ganesh Nagar. Nitesh came to the hospital with Kailash on Sunday night to meet Monika. After meeting Monica, there was a verbal spat between Praful and Nitesh on the spot regarding Monika. Ambulance owner Pankaj and his three other friends Shani, Bhuvan and Mahboob also came. Everyone is accused of beating Nitesh and Kailash black and blue and they fled from the spot.
Dr Satish, the operator of Oscar Hospital, told that Nitesh was admitted in a badly injured condition where on Monday night Nitesh died. The Charkop police had earlier registered the case under IPC section 141, 143, 147, 324, 342 and 34. But after the death of Nitesh, the case has also been filed under IPC section 304.
On Tuesday, all the accused were presented in the Borivali court and were sent to judicial custody.
