Actor Sunny Kaushal will be soon seen in a web series directed by ace filmmaker Kabir Khan. Titled 'The Forgotten Army' the show is based on true events about the men and women in the Indian National Army led by Subhash Chandra Bose. The trailer of the show was recently released at an event held in Mumbai and currently, it is received well by the audiences.
This series, which will stream on Amazon Prime Video, will also star Sharvari Wagh, TJ Bhanu and Rohit Chaudhary in lead roles. Shot in Thailand, The Forgotten Army, showcases an important part of India history and is a project close to Kabir Khan's heart. During the trailer launch he expressed how important this subject was for him and how he chose Sunny Kaushal in the lead role.
Praising Sunny who plays the character of Sodhi in the show, he said, “Sunny is an absolutely brilliant actor. He’s brought to life the character of Sodhi. You can see the intensity, the performance in the trailer. Once you see the series, you will agree with me & see that he’s done a fantastic job.”
Marked to be a republic day special, the show will stream on January 24, 2020. This will also be the first big release of Amazon Prime Video this year.
