Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, who is known for his outspokenness, is always in the news. Recently, he commented on the success of the movie 'Pathaan' and took a jibe at the people who criticised it.  Anurag also often comments on politics, which has landed him in trouble several times. Recently, he spoke about the third season of most awaiting series 'Sacred Games' in an interview.

When the first season of 'Sacred Games' was released on Netflix, it was very well received. However, its second season did not garner that much attention. Post the second season, people were waiting for the third season but  Anurag Kashyap has put an end to this discussion. In an interview, Anurag has clarified that 'Sacred Games 3' will not be released.

Anurag has also explained that Saif Ali Khan's web series 'Tandav' is the main reason for the decision. A scene in the web series 'Tandav' created a lot of controversies. Speaking about the same, Anurag said, "Netflix doesn't have the guts to release Sacred Games 3  anymore, as many OTT platforms have been scared due to the controversies created because of Tandav." This is definitely disappointing news for Sacred Games fans.

The web series was jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Neeraj Ghaywan. This web series was very popular due to its abusive language and some bold scenes. Anurag Kashyap's upcoming 'Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat' is all set for release. The film will be released in theatres on February 3.
