After releasing an interesting teaser featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Emraan Hashmi, popular global OTT platform, Netflix, released the trailer of the much anticipated Indian Original show 'Bard of Blood.' Starring Emraan Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Vineet Kumar Singh, in the lead roles, this show is based on the book written by debutant author Bilal Siddiqi.
Netflix’s Bard of Blood revolves around three Indian agents who are on a mission to rescue the Indian government’s spies from Pakistan. The agents played by Emraan, Sobhita and Vineet are on the mission together as a team who face many obstacles during the mission.
Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the show also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Rajit Kapoor. Talking about the show, Ribhu, in a recently released statement said, “This journey on Bard of Blood has been one which I will cherish all my life. It has changed me as a person and as a filmmaker for the best. Directing the series for Netflix, in association with Red Chillies Entertainment and Mr. Khan has been an extremely fulfilling experience. I am so glad I could be part of it and very excited about the trailer launch.”
The seven-episode show is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and will stream on Netflix on September 27. Besides Bard of Blood, Ribhu will soon be directing the Hindi remake of The Girl on the Train starring Parineeti Chopra.
