Randeep Hooda to star in web series ‘Inspector Avinash’

Amid ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Randeep Hooda had taken part in a clean-up drive at Versova beach in July.

Randeep Hooda has recently signed a web-series under Jio Studios banner. The actor will make his Hindi web-series debut with the show, titled Inspector Avinash.

The series is said to be an exciting cop drama where the actor will portray the role of a police officer handling all the crimes in Uttar Pradesh, be directed by filmmaker Neeraj Pathak, the show might go on floors in January 2021.

Randeep had signed the project last year, according to sources. The project was earlier supposed to roll early this year but was delayed due to Randeep’s busy schedule. The team then had planned to start filming in April but the COVID-19 induced lockdown played a spoilt support. Neeraj Pathak, Randeep, and the team recently had a virtual discussion and they’re now planning to start the show from January 2021 onwards.

Earlier this year, Randeep Hooda made his digital debut with Netflix’s crime-thriller Extraction starring Chris Hemsworth.

Apart from giving stunning performances on big-screen, the actor has always stepped up for various social work. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Randeep Hooda had taken part in a clean-up drive at Versova beach in July.

Earlier, in September 2010, Randeep Hooda along with Jackky Bhagnani appeared in a charity fashion show for Khushi, Kapil Dev’s NGO to improve poor communities in India. Also, in the same year, he helped raise public awareness of chronic hunger in India. Then in December 2012, he took part in an anti-suicide initiative with Imtiaz Ali, Rahul Bose, Mahesh Bhupati, and Nishikant Kamath.
