The current coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown has given many people, across the country, to work on a skill they have always wanted to. People are learning to cook, stay fit, paint, etc., and are getting used to uploading the same on social media, thereby staying close to the community. Apps like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and others have become an active part of people across ages.

With an aim to spread a positive message, thereby explore his skills as a writer, Jaipur-based Mrityunjay Sharma penned poetry titled “Rukega Desh Nahi, Jhukega Desh Nahi.” He is a popular name on TikTok (semblance_jay) and his video has been appreciated by many, over the last few days.

Talking about the same, Jay (as he is popularly known) told Mumbai Live, “I was just trying to write something in English while focusing on a collaborative video. That’s when the concept struck me, and it came to my mind that I should focus on something which reaches many people. Hence I chose to pen my thoughts - something original in Hindi and I’m happy with what I’ve written.”

He further added, “My effort to contribute to a bit of hope, and lots of gratitude for India. Yes, we are in our houses and we have questions about tomorrow; But like every time I know that India shall unite and overcome these times together like we always have.”

Jay is 22 and will soon be a doctor by profession. But his passion is to act and perform. He has also created a content studio handle on Instagram under the name ‘Sejay Content Studio.’
