State to introduce CBSE curriculum in SSC board from the next academic year

The state government has decided to implement the CBSE pattern in the government schools of the state. State School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar has taken this important decision keeping in mind the attraction of school students towards CBSE. So now CBSE pattern will be seen in the curriculum of schools in Maharashtra. Kesarkar has said that this decision will be implemented from the next academic year. This decision will benefit the students of the state.


Over the years, parents have given importance to central schools for their child's education. A large number of parents are getting their children admitted in CBSE board schools. Due to this, the enrollment rate in Maharashtra State Board of Education schools has decreased.

In many places the number of students in schools has decreased significantly. Keeping this in mind, the state government has decided to implement the CBSE pattern in the curriculum of schools in Maharashtra. Minister Kesarkar informed that the syllabus from 3rd to 12th has also been fixed for this.


An effort to ensure that children get quality education: Kesarkar

Kesarkar said, "Parents are preferring CBSE board schools for better education for their children. But the government is trying to ensure that children get quality education in state education board schools as well. CBSE syllabus will be taught in state education board schools to ensure that Maharashtra board children do not lag behind in competitive exams. The syllabus has been fixed from class III to XII. CBSE pattern syllabus will be taught in state education board schools from next year."
