Class XII students might suffer as there are chances of HSC results getting delayed because of junior teachers who have evaluated the answer sheets but have not forwarded them to the chief moderators to put pressure on the state to accept their demands.

Teachers are unhappy with the state who had promised that they would approve their demands and same will be announced in a couple of days but it has been eight days and the state hasn't done anything. Hence, the State Junior College Teachers Association has decided to protest by not forwarding the answer sheets to the chief moderators.

We have evaluated 80 lakh answer sheets but will not forward it unless our demands are met. This will delay in the results declaration and the state government will be responsible,” Anil Deshmukh, President, State Junior College Teachers' Association.

It is being said that more than 10 lakh answer papers were expected to reach the board's office by April but not a single one has reached the office.
