Maharashtra HSC 2021 results likely to be out tomorrow

The state government had earlier decided to cancel its Class 12 examinations due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the spike in COVID-19 cases.

The results of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBHSE) are expected to be released on Friday, July 30.

Even though Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad is yet to confirm the date and time, it was earlier reported that the results would be out by the end of this month only. For all the students who have appeared for the class 12 examinations, according to the directive shared by Supreme Court, state boards are required to release the Class 12 result by July 31, 2021. Therefore, in view of the deadlines, the HSC result is likely to be announced by today or tomorrow.

According to reports, results, based on criteria decided by Government, would be released now on the official website mahahsscboard.in and mh-hsc.ac.in.

The state government had earlier decided to cancel its Class 12 examinations due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the spike in COVID-19 cases, nearly 16 lakh students had registered for the same. Meanwhile, the board had recorded a pass percentage of 90.66 per cent last year, however, this year since the examinations were cancelled, the board is expected to achieve a 100 per cent pass percentage.

On the other hand, earlier the 2021 session of the Maharashtra SSC Exams were cancelled owing to the pandemic. Thus, the authorities thought it was best to assess the marks on the basis of internal examination. The SSC Results will be determined on the student's performance in Class 9 and Class 10 internals. Out of the total 100 marks, 50% will depend on Class 9, based on the year-long internal assessment of Class 10, 30 marks will be evaluated and based on practical, homework, assignments in Class 10, 20 marks will be given.
