In recent developments, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, MSBSHSE is expected to release the dates for Maharashtra HSC results soon.
For all the students who have appeared for the class 12 examinations, according to the directive shared by Supreme Court, state boards are required to release the Class 12 result by July 31, 2021. Therefore, in view of the deadlines, the HSC result is likely to be announced by today or tomorrow.
According to reports, at least 16 lakh students have registered for the Maharashtra HSC examinations 2021 this year. Moreover, it is to be noted that the official result website mahresults.nic.in was discontinued for the SSC Results 2021. Therefore, it is likely that the Maharashtra HSC Results 2021 may not be released on that site. Furthermore, the official site to check the HSC result would be announced along with the date of release of the result.
On the other hand, the hike in the final-year results by Mumbai University is bound to have an effect on students looking to get admitted in the postgraduate professional courses in India and abroad.
Amidst the outbreak of the coronavirus and the subsequent lockdowns, Mumbai University has conducted three-semester exams so far. As the final examinations for the outgoing batch of 2020 were done in a hurry in October, there was no scope to control the exaggerated results. Moreover, the examinations were decentralised and conducted independently by colleges. In addition, question papers only had MCQs then.
