The SSC exams will be conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (State Board) from March 1 to 26. 16 lakh 9 thousand 445 students have registered for the exam. The state board has taken measures to conduct this examination in a safe environment and 271 Bharari teams have been appointed. Even if there is an election code of conduct, it will not affect the exam much.


State board president Sharad Gosavi gave this information in a press conference. Board Secretary Anuradha Oak, Manik Bangar were present on the occasion. Ten counselors have been appointed at the state board level for counseling the students during the examination period.

To maintain the confidentiality of the answer sheet, Assistant Pari Rakshak will be working at the examination center as a sitting team. Also, filming will be done from the time of taking possession of the confidential packets of the question papers to the time of distribution. The Assistant Pari Rakshak must keep his mobile GPS on. Bharari teams have also been appointed at the district level along with the state board Bharari team. An extension of ten minutes has been given after the examination time.


Last year, 15 lakh 77 thousand 256 students were registered for the examination. Therefore, the number of registered students has increased this year. This year, six thousand private and eight thousand re-examiners have increased, said Gosavi. Gosavi clarified that even if there is a Lok Sabha election, the result will be declared in time.
