Mumbai University has chosen the agency, Merit Trac for evaluation of answer sheets online. The process will be carried out with advanced technology, CCTV surveillance and biometric access. Around 50 scanners and image enhancers will be set up in Kalina campus. More than 1,500 answer sheets can be scanned using one scanner. To scan and upload the sheet, 250 people, 50 officers will be appointed.
From 4 May, answer sheets of the varsity will be checked online through on-screen marking. Approximately 2 lakh answer sheets will be scanned. Sanjay Deshmukh, Vice-Chancellor Mumbai University said, “ answer sheets of priority subjects will be scanned first and will be enabled for on-screen evaluation.”
