Maharashtra CET date extension benefit students as many register on September 7 and 8

Considering the request made by the students and parents across Maharashtra, the State Common Entrance Examination Cell, Mumbai had started a revised registration process for various common entrance examinations in the state.

Talking about the same, Uday Samant, Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education, said that a total of 48,634 students have benefited from this extension, he further added that many students could not apply for various common entrance exams due to COVID-19 and hence the state CET cell had extended the period by two days keeping the students' and parents' demands in mind. The extension period was on September 7 and 8, 2020, and this decision has benefited thousands of students.

Following this process, the State's Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has recently announced the revised dates for the MHT-CET 2020 examination. A detailed schedule of examinations and tickets are available on the official website of the cell. Below mentioned are the modified dates of the exams

• PCB Group - October 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2020
• PCM Group - October 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 2020

A detailed examination schedule is available on the cell's official website www.mahacet.org, and admission tickets can be downloaded from the same. During this extended period, students have registered for the common entrance examinations of various courses. Below mentioned are the number of registered students from various streams
