The Institute of Distance and Open Studies of Mumbai University has been given permission by AICTE and UGC to start two courses MMS and MCA through distance education for the academic year 2023-24. Students will be able to apply for entrance exams online from July 12 to July 24. The entrance exam of MMS and MCA will be held online on Sunday 13 August 2023.
For the academic year 2023-24, AICTE and UGC have approved 720 seats for Master of Management Studies (MMS) course through Idol through distance learning. This course is equivalent to an MBA course.

“Mumbai University has started important courses like MMS and MCA through distance mode. This is an opportunity for working people and students who could not get admission in regular college”, said Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, Vice-Chancellor, Mumbai University.
Also, IDOL has a two-year reformed Master of Computer Application (MCA) course. This course has been approved by AICTE and UGC for 2000 seats. MMS courses can be done in three subjects namely HR, Finance and Marketing. Applications for both these entrance exams are invited through online and are available on the website of the university https://mu.ac.in/distance-open-learning.
