The examination schedule for professional courses was made available on Thursday. Postgraduate (PG) exams are scheduled to take place starting May 25 while exams for professional courses will go on until August, particularly for students in first-year courses.

MU has announced that question banks will be provided for the 2nd and 4th semesters for all postgraduate arts, science and commerce courses, along with final semesters of BE (VIII), B Pharm (VIII), and semester 4 of MMS (Master in Management Studies) courses.

MU Director (Board of Examinations and Evaluations), Vinod Patil said that the call was taken by the examinations board, though he couldn’t clarify why it only applies to some courses.

“Online exams are losing credibility. Most students are scoring exceptional marks and several have found ways to trick the system. This move is to probably show the industry that the sanctity of exam is retained to some extent,” a principal was quoted as saying by TOI
