In the last few months, University of Mumbai (MU) has been in the news over messing up online assessment, misplacing answer sheets and jeopardising students' careers. To add on to the misery, many important posts in MU have been lying vacant or are handled by interim officials.

For many years now, MU has been functioning on vacant posts but soon, these posts will be filled up permanently. Also, registrar which is considered as an important post is looked after an interim official. MU now has published an advertisement to fill up posts such as registrar, Director of Examination and Evaluation Board, Physical Education and Sports Director, Co-operative department operator, etc.

Releasing an advertisement and filling up posts was discussed recently in the Management Council’s meeting. Interested applicants can apply for the posts by October 29, 2018.
