It has been pointed out that the following primary schools in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area are running unauthorised without the approval of the Government, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation as of March 31, 2023. As per the RTE Under Section-18 of the Act 2009, no new school can be run without approval. Accordingly, it has been observed that the following 5 schools in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area are running without approval.
In this regard, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Education Department has published a public statement signed by NMMC Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar and it has been announced that the school should be closed immediately.

The concerned school managers should inform the students of their school to the nearest M.N.P. or contact the parents in another recognised private school and enrol them for further education and close the school, otherwise action will be taken against them under Section 18 (5) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. It has been notified through the department.

Parents should not re-admit their children to these unauthorised schools. Parents who have admitted their child in this unauthorised school should cancel their child's admission and enrol in the nearest government recognised school. It has been clarified through the education department that their education will not suffer.
