NEET Result 2019: Sarthak Bhat from Nashik is the State Topper with a score of 695

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)  is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study graduate and postgraduate medical courses (MBBS, MD, MS) and dental courses (BDS, MDS) in government or private medical colleges and dental colleges in India.

In 2019, the NEET exam was conducted on May 5 and May 20 and the result was declared on Wednesday, June 5. Sarthak Bhat from Nashik was the state topper with a score of 695 and Nalin Khandelwal from Rajasthan was the All-India Topper with a score of 701. Disha Agarwal from Maharashtra was the state topper among girls and bagged an All India Rank (AIR) 52. 

Notably, 14.1 lakh students appeared for NEET and 7.97 lakh students qualified for it. Maharashtra had the second highest number of candidates who qualified with Uttar Pradesh bagging the first place. Amidst all the reservations, the cut-off for open category has increased by 15 marks.
