Post Mumbai University’s time-table fiasco, third-year Bachelor in Account and Finance (BAF) students of N M College have not received their marksheets for two months now.
What’s The Story?
Narsee Monjee college — affiliated with the University of Mumbai — announced BAF’s third year, semester-V results on April 21, 2018. In the month of May, answer sheets were distributed as well. However, 27 students of the same college complained that the college deliberately didn’t issue their marksheets, in particular.
Why Were Marksheets Not Given?
The students claimed that just because they belong to other universities, the college did not hand over them the marksheets. They informed that they had submitted their necessary documents to the college but the latter did not send it to the examination department which led to the chaos.
College Administration Officials Refuted The Allegations
Yuva Sena — Shiv Sena’s youth wing — and few N M College students met college principal Dr. Parag Ajgaonkar and asked about the same. The college principal claimed that it was not their fault but the University’s Examination and Evaluation Department to be blamed. Yuva Sena has asked college authorities to hand over the marksheets as soon as possible.
"Though we belong to the a different university, we had submitted our necessary papers and completed the formality. Also, we have cleared our previous semesters, yet the college is not handing us our V-semester marksheets,” Mahek Verma, Student, N M College.
